Si laurea in Scienze della Comunicazione nel 2004 con una tesi sperimentale sul cinema Horror.
Dopo un'esperienza iniziale come web designer si dedica inoltre alla realizzazione di Video, Fotografie e Progetti Multimediali.

A Giugno 2014 vince il Ciak D'Oro per il Miglior Manifesto.
A Gennaio 2015 fonda con Marco De Micheli l'Agenzia di Comunicazione Vertigo assumendo il ruolo di Creative Director.
Nella sua attività ha curato ad oggi la realizzazione di oltre 450 Poster per Film e Serie Tv.
Tiene docenze in Comunicazione, Marketing e Art Direction per L'Università La Sapienza di Roma, l'Università Cattolica di Milano, la LUISS Business School, lo IED di Roma, la Business School del Sole 24 Ore e per il Master di Anica Accademy.

Federico Mauro was born in Avellino, May 23rd 1980.
Since 2001 he has been a professional multimedia designer and art director.
Federico majored in Communicational Science in 2004 with an experimental dissertation on Horror cinema.
Besides his experience as web designer he commits to the realization of Videos, Photography and multimedia projects realizing also short movies awarded in various national competitions.
Over the years he has been increasingly working on communicational projects, online media, social media strategies, viral and unconventional marketing for clients such as Universal Pictures, Warner Bros., Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney Plus, Paramount +, Fandango, Darewin - Mediamonks (France), Rai Cinema, 01 Distribution, The Apartment Pictures, HBO, Wildside, Sky Cinema, Dior, Campari, Vision Distribution, Leone Film Group, Independet Ideas, Medusa Film, Mondadori, R&C Produzioni, Nastro Azzurro, Einaudi, BIM Distribuzione, Lucky Red, Palomar, Lotus, Anica.
